Fireside Chat With Bob Jones - Paul Keith Davis

As we often like to do, the following series of revelations are extracted from various dreams and visions given to Bob Jones. Over the last 30 years he has cultivated his prophetic gifting and is in the custom of receiving dreams or visions on a daily basis ranging from simple words of encouragement to profound insight with significant implications. The ones that follow were taken from various conversations we have had with Him over the last few weeks and then articulated and expanded upon for greater clarity. We chose to present them in this format as prophetic “bullets” in lieu of a prophetic article in order to include more in number and allow our readers to explore the comprehension and application of them.

Focus Ahead

In a dream Bob was told, “Those who strictly observe past glory will have little expression of present glory because they are solely focused on something that is fading.”

For if that which was but passing and fading away came with splendor, how much more must that which remains and is permanent abide in glory and splendor! Since we have such [glorious] hope (such joyful and confident expectation), we speak very freely and openly and fearlessly. Nor [do we act] like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze upon the finish of the vanishing [splendor which had been upon it]. 14In fact, their minds were grown hard and calloused [they had become dull and had lost the power of understanding]; for until this present day, when the Old Testament (the old covenant) is being read, that same veil still lies [on their hearts], not being lifted [to reveal] that in Christ it is made void and done away. 2 Cor. 3:11-14 (Amplified)

Those who observe the fading glory of days gone by do so strictly from a misguided perspective and will have no understanding of the things that are yet to take place. Though we build upon the foundation of things that have taken place in the past, we cannot remain exclusively driven by prior expressions of outpouring and revival. There is something new and fresh on the horizon that will be a continual unfolding of the divine attributes and glory of Heaven.

Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty. We cannot allow ourselves to be content to have a retrospective point of view when the greatest glory is yet to come. The Spirit produces liberty and emancipation from the bondage of the past providing the hope of a glorious future in His rest. The Holy Spirit is currently at work equipping and supplying a body of people to live in freedom.

Focus on Light-- Not Darkness

There is an admonition coming from the Lord highlighting our need to be more concentrated on the things that He is preparing to do rather than our adversary. Although there is merit in knowing the plans of the enemy in order to mobilize ourselves through prayer and intercession to overcome his plans, it remains imperative for us to set before us the promise of Heaven for this generation.

Our secular media has become a conduit to sow fear and intimidation into the hearts of people. Likewise, there are some misguided doomsday ministries who unfortunately overemphasize the darkness of this generation without giving adequate attention to the light that will also be delegated to a prepared and set apart people. Where darkness abounds, grace will much more abound.

The revelatory anointing resting upon God's people will allow foresight into the coming darkness. However, it also permits insight into the deposit of virtue and glory to be unleashed in unprecedented measure. We cannot allow ourselves to become overly concentrated on the darkness but exuberant with anticipation of the greatness of God to be demonstrated. Light will always overcome darkness. We are living in a time of great darkness but our directive is to be concentrated on the Light. We are to arise and shine, for our Light has come.

Emphasis on Psalm 27

In 1998 Bob and I brought a word involving promises resident in Psalm 27. The Lord has again emphasized this passage and the promises that were made during that season that are about to become reality. Very often these prophetic indications are made in advance so that prayer and preparation can be offered. When the timing is appropriate, the grace is then released for the promises to become reality. The Holy Spirit seems to be expressing His desire to begin to make real the spiritual truths contained in this awesome Psalm.

Here is a portion of the original word in 1998… Once we were back on the highway it brought us to the intersection of highway 27. This represented Psalms 27. The message of this Psalm is stating that people will live in either separated fear or trusting relationship, based upon our choices. In the vision, Bob and I were directed to go east; for there would be a powerful move of the Spirit somewhere to the East.

Cleansing of Flesh and Spirit

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1

There has presently been an emphasis on the cleansing of our spirit in preparation for the Light that is coming. The Lord is sprinkling clean water upon us that we may be made clean from our association with the spirit of this world. We then receive a new heart and a new spirit will be placed within us so that our heart of stone is extracted and a heart of compatibility with heaven imparted. (Ezekiel 36:24-27)

When this is complete we are then capable of receiving more fully the Holy Spirit within us, Who causes us to walk according to His statutes and ordinances. This is the process that makes us "bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh." From this position our desolate heritages are restored and the favor of Heaven becomes evident.

The Lord is preparing to make "known" the unknown. When our soulish ambitions and agendas are revealed and extracted, it makes way for the revelation of the Lord's redemptive attributes that we had heretofore been incapable of experientially apprehending. There is a purifying that is taking place in the spirit of God's people to eradicate mixture and extract the "alloy" of our souls. The Holy Spirit in us will reveal the nature of God that is foreign and unknown to this world.

The Bible declares, "deep calls unto the deep." The Holy Spirit resident in us is calling out for the deep and lofty things of God contained in His mysteries and divine strategy. There is a divine stirring within the spirit of man to link heaven with earth.

I Have a Dream

In one of his prophetic encounters, Bob was told that the enemy is vigorously working to steal the "dreams" of God's people. Primarily, the dreams consist of hopes and aspirations birthed in the spirit of Christians that motivate them in prayer and set them on their prophetic journey.

In the experience, the Lord expressed that it was acceptable for His people to contemplate great and lofty things that He is capable of doing through them. That is the admonition to us in Ephesians 3:20-21---

Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

If our dreams become exaggerated beyond the parameters of His promise, then He will make adjustments in us that keep it from becoming vain imaginations. With the vision that is being imparted to saints, there is a corresponding faith that is birthed to see it become reality. Our adversary is attempting to bring opposition to those dreams and visions with the anticipated result of birthing hopelessness and depression in its place.

Psalms 126 was given as an outline for this admonition. Those who dream in the greatness and hopeful expectation of God's restoration are filled with joy. Correspondingly, without vision, people perish in discouragement and confusion and are led into captivity.

We cannot give up the dream and aspiration of being used mightily by the Holy Spirit in the blueprint of Heaven presently being unfolded. We must also continue to dream for our children to be handed a rich spiritual inheritance.

Our Consolation During Times of Darkness - Paul Keith Davis

Historically times of spiritual darkness in the world also mark a time of incredible opportunity to develop intimate relationship with the Lord as a friend. Those who embrace this opportunity will be known as "disciples" (instructed ones) and partakers of His divine nature. It is through His Holy character that divine power is granted to us that provides everything we need "pertaining to life and Godliness."

The Scripture points out we have received His precious and magnificent promises by which we become partakers of His divine nature having escaped the corruption of this world and its lusts -

Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and Godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. -2 Peter 1:3-4

A friend is known as a close companion or comrade; those having a reciprocal relationship or mutual exchange one with another. According to Exodus 33:11, the Lord spoke to Moses face-to-face as a friend speaks to a friend!
The Lord's friends can also be trusted. We must come to a place of trustworthy stewardship of His revelation and His glory. The apostle Paul admonishes us in I Corinthians 4:1-2 to not only become carriers of the mysteries and power of God, but to also betrustworthy stewards.

The friends of the bride-groom assist in the planning and arranging of the soon coming marriage. The Lord must be able to trust His friends with His power and this divine message that is going to be delivered to His people for this purpose. Those who are mature and virtuous will perceive this to be a season of visitation and camaraderie with the Lord. Even with storms raging all around us we can say, "all is well
with my soul... as long as Jesus is my friend." These will not care anything about the famine, the pestilence, and the storms as long as they have Jesus for their friend.

Restoration and Recovery

The friends of Christ will initiate a season of spiritual and natural restoration.

Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you. For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; and I will make you like a warrior's sword. -Zechariah 9:12 13

Our enemy, whose desire is to steal, kill and destroy, has successfully plundered the inheritance of God's people throughout the centuries. Nevertheless, divine justice requires recompense. This includes not only our spiritual heritage but also natural resources rightfully belonging to God's people. This will be a major source of resolution for the Church during economic crisis.

Past relationships that the devil has destroyed will also begin to be reconciled. Relationships destroyed by rumors, gossip, and propaganda will supernaturally be mended by the Lord if we petition heaven through prayer and supplication. This is something important to the Lord that we must contend for.

The restorer of the breach will recondition us by the Spirit of Truth and a new wall of protection will be constructed to surround the Bride of Christ. The Lord is the restorer of the breach and the repairer of the broken walls...He is the restorer of former streets and dwellings and the One who un-stops old wells. According to Isaiah 58:12:

And those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell.

The Lord's ultimate desire for His people is to restore and renew the breach between Heaven and earth and impart to them a spirit of valor and courage; then we will carry the battle to the enemy gates and plunder his camp by aiding and directing those who once failed to find their rightful place in the body of Christ. We will begin to find those of our brethren living in fear and seclusion and rejuvenate them into a new walk with Christ.

Overcoming Fear

Many people are experiencing fear on multiple levels. Fear of failure imprisons countless Christians by inhibiting them from exercising their spiritual gifts and walking in obedience to the Holy Spirit. Others are overcome with feelings of dread concerning their marriage and/or the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of their children. Still others are struggling with insecurity concerning their financial well-being and future. All of these are legitimate concerns that we can and must transfer to the Lord for His care and oversight. 1 Peter 5:6-7 declares:

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

Several years ago I wrote an article with Bob Jones derived from an experience he had with the Lord showing our anointing to deal with the "spirit of fear." The revelation portrayed and typified our spiritual adversaries by "Goliah" and like David, the young champion of Israel, God's people were being anointed to deal with the relevant issues of our generation with hearts of valor.

Clearly, spiritual giants are once again raising their ugly heads in a desperate attempt to keep God's people from our promises. Even so, impartation of grace and favor will see us through with the emergence of some of the greatest champions the Church has ever seen.

In this experience Bob was shown that one of the "Goliaths" of the last day generation is the spirit of fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 promises:

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Fear is defined as, an emotion characterized by alarm, anxiety, and tension, often caused by an expectation of danger or pain; it is a dread birthed through anxiety and tension, whether real or imagined, producing timidity and fearfulness.

The "spirit of fear" is a form of bondage and spiritual slavery. It is a ruthless taskmaster attempting to steal the seeds of destiny and purposes being awakened within the hearts of God's people. The Lord knew us before the foundation of the world. Those who belong to Him were in Him before creation was fashioned. He foreknew all who would desperately search for Him and to those He deposited divine seeds of Kingdom design and destiny. Those seeds are now being awakened and activated within many and it is our adversaries determined desire to prohibit that from coming into full fruition. We are on the threshold of another "Great Awakening."

The Debilitating Fruit of Fear

In these revelations, we were shown that there are many debilitating spirits that feed off of fear that will circumvent our calling and destiny. Awareness of this plot is mandatory so that we can embrace God's provision to overcome.

The first revealed fruit of fear is "insanity and mental instability." The desire of the adversary is to create such fear in the hearts of people that he would actually cause impairment in our thinking that opens the door to various forms of delusion, depression and anxiety.

Insanity is birthed from a root of fear. A lack of sound judgment provides options that we would ordinarily shun or not even consider, such as drugs and alcohol.
This is just one expression of "spiritual insanity." There can be many including unhealthy relationships, financial irresponsibility or the excessive pursuit of entertainment or the squandering of precious time that we need to redeem for His Kingdom.

The second spirit accompanying the "spirit of fear" was "fear of sickness and infirmity." It is the plan of our adversary to create such insecurity and anxiety involving reports of sickness and disease that we would not pursue our divine destiny and Heavenly purpose with determination and faith. This could certainly be the case with the numerous outbreaks of the bird flu, swine flu and other epidemics. The Church will come to know more ardently that by His strips we are healed and greater is He within us than he that is in the world.

The final adversary revealed in the experience birthed out of the "spirit of fear" was "fear of financial failure." Clearly, our nation is experiencing notable financial difficulties. Economic analyst and experts have openly acknowledged that this downfall is further fueled by public fear and misconceptions.

That instability has also been facilitated by reports of corporate abuse and unscrupulous business leaders and poor political decisions. We believe it is still the Lord's intent to use our nation to help facilitate the birthing of divine purposes and stand in strong support of Israel. Clearly, there are issues of repentance and a return to righteousness that must be realized within the Church which will release times of refreshing from His Presence. (Acts 3.19)

The Enemy's Plans

Unresolved Afear" will give place to one or all three companions that travel with it. These spirits attempt to defile the righteous and hinder the Church from entering her place of anointing and fruitfulness.

The first step in overcoming the designs of the enemy is to bring them out darkness and obscurity into light. The enemy hates for his plans to be exposed. This was explicitly demonstrated in 2 Kings 6:11-12. By obtaining a clear comprehension of his schemes we are more amply able to fortify ourselves through the Word of Truth and appropriate it through prayer and proclamation.

When Israel heard Goliath they trembled and when they saw him they fled. This analogy is given to portray our adversaries plan and purpose. It is the grace of God to allow us to understand these things so that we can take our position through faith and prayer to overcome.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Rom 8:15 17)

Champions in the Order of David

There will be a company of people who arise from the wilderness having conquered the "lion" and the "bear" with confidence in God's anointing and willingness to overcome His enemies. The future "David's" will be both worshipers and warriors who have discovered the Lords Voice in the wilderness.

The spirit of "fear" functions as captain of Satan's host. Like David, we are insufficient in our own strength to overtake this adversary. However, we do not come in our own name nor in our strength but in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom he has taunted. (1 Samuel 17.45)

The Smooth Stone of Apostolic Authority

When we function in God's government through genuine apostolic authority we will then destroy this antagonist and plunder the enemy's camp. David was able to bravely stand before "Goliath" because he knew his promise and to Whom he belonged.

Likewise, he recognized the seed of corruption and ungodliness from which Goliath came. The clear distinctions between the two are going to become apparent in the coming season. No longer will the line be blurred separating those who belong to the Lord Jesus and those who have yielded to ungodliness and corruption.

To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days. And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go on BEFORE THE LORD TO PREPARE HIS WAYS; -- Luke 1:74 76
There is presently a challenge coming to the forefront to confront the intimidations and trepidations many are experiencing concerning their ministries, health, finances and families.

Although the brothers of David witnessed the anointing oil poured upon him by the prophet Samuel, yet they were the very ones who chastised David for his willingness to confront the champion of the enemy army. Nonetheless, that did not deter him from fulfilling his destiny and demonstrating the Lords victory.

We cannot allow the chastisement from within our own camp to hinder us from this commission and purpose. The demonstration of the Lords mantle as Warrior and Captain of the Heavenly Host, will overcome "Goliath" and release the armies of God to plunder the camp of the enemy. Many of our brethren are held captive by the forces of the adversary. It is the Lords desire and intent to free them. Hebrews 12:28 29 declares:

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

Presently, we are being given a choice--- Faith or Fear. Faith works through love but anger and disillusionment is the offspring of fear.

A Vision of the Coming Days - Paul Keith Davis

On July 31, 2008 while in Red Deer, Alberta Canada for a conference, the Lord took me into a very interesting and enlightening revelatory experience. It was approximately 3 o'clock in the afternoon after spending considerable time in preparation for the evening service. My subject was one that I had been diligently studying for several months involving the Lord's admonition saying:

For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. -Matthew 24:37-39

The Lord spoke to me clearly saying, "It would behoove you to understand as much as possible concerning the days of Noah; what overcame Noah's day, your generation must overcome." As a result of that charge I have been consumed with passion to fully understand Genesis 6 and its relationship to the days ahead.

While sitting on the couch in my hotel room in Red Deer, I was contemplating the biblical implications of Genesis 6 in relationship to our day when suddenly I went into a revelatory encounter. I found myself in the Spirit standing in an evangelistic crusade being conducted on a football field. My first observation involved the people riveted to a message that was being preached from a podium on the field. I then clearly recognized the voice of the evangelist... it was the great Billy Graham preaching the cross of Jesus Christ as only he could.

I was able to recognize the people's attire resembled that from the 1960's. I could hear Dr. Graham presenting his anointed message from the four spiritual laws as complete silence filled the auditorium with the exception of his voice. Then I could hear the song, "Just As I Am" being played as hundreds responded to his invitation and began quietly and orderly making their way to the alter.

Then a Voice spoke in the vision saying, "What is coming will not be like this!" With that statement I knew the coming revival would clearly have a strong evangelistic anointing like a heard from Dr. Graham, but also of a different nature that facilitated a compelling demonstration of the Spirit's power producing reverential awe and conviction according to 1 Thessalonians 1: 5 saying:

For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

With that statement I found myself standing in a large auditorium with a considerable altar area filled with the sick and afflicted on cots, gurneys and wheelchairs. To my amazement the entire altar was filled with the sick on a scale I have only seen in pictures from past revivals. To my right I noticed a man lying on a cot whose bones were twisted like pretzels. Further to the right another man was seated in a wheelchair with his legs elevated and his feet curled under by a hideous bone disease. Beside him a man was lying on a gurney with a large tumor protruding from his abdomen.

I actually felt encouragement from this scene derived from the faith that permeated the atmosphere. These people were here because of the expectation and anticipation of God's Presence to heal and deliver. Suddenly with that realization, the double doors of the sanctuary burst open and a family of approximately ten people came through the doors escorting what appeared to be a young teenage girl that was clearly demonized. I watched as she was screaming, cursing and throwing grown men around like rag dolls.

Then one of the men in the family spoke with a very demanding tone saying, "somebody had better be here that can deal with this." With that statement I could sense the family's desperation for God's intervention. They had tried every other alternative possible with no success. Only the power and authority of Christ could help this family.

As the family made their way up the aisle I walked towards them with the profound awareness that there was no time to call for a host of intercessors nor was there time to pray and fast. It was like a Mount Carmel showdown between light and darkness requiring that we call upon God's grace and manifest Presence resident in us to meet this incredible need. I was immediately reminded of the Lord's confrontation with the demoniac of Gadara. I was also thoroughly convinced that a mere spiritual gift, as wonderful as spiritual gifts may be, was not sufficient to overcome this level of darkness. It required "Christ in me, the hope of glory."

As I walked towards the family my spiritual eyes were opened in the experience and I could see an evil being occupying this young girl that seemed to be approximately 12 feet tall. It was then I remembered my study concerning Genesis 6 and the Lord's admonition that the day of His coming would be just as it was in the days of Noah. I knew that I was dealing with a being in the spiritual realm that had its origin in Genesis 6. What overcame Noah's day in the natural, we must overcome in the Spirit!

Suddenly, a realm of authority rose up within me that I knew transcended present understanding of spiritual authority. Out of my mouth the words "be gone," proceeded with great power and authority. As quickly as the words were spoken the spirit left the young girl. Of course, I realize this was a teaching experience to illustrate the authority we must aspire to and demonstrate in this generation to meet the great demands and level of darkness that will define the final days before the Lord's return. It is the realm of Christ's authority that the Bride must come to know in fullness in order to gather the great harvest.

As soon as the evil being left the young girl, the entire family came under the spirit of conviction and gave their lives to the Lord. Then I heard the Voice speaking again saying, "What has previously been relegated to India and Africa is coming to America and somebody had better get authority with Me and in a hurry."

I knew that I had seen a spiritual confrontation that is commonplace with ministry in Africa and India. Some form of restraining force has been removed from our country that has sheltered us from this realm and dimension of spiritual darkness on a broad basis. It has been seen in isolated areas and circumstance but not as widespread as we are about to witness. We must prepare now to meet this incredible challenge. This level of hostile opposition will require the Lord's Bride to enter a level of maturity belonging to "the fullness of Christ" and absolute demonstration of the Lord's victory over death, hell and the grave. The apostle Paul admonished us saying:

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
-Ephesians 4:11-13

I believe with that admonition we will also see greater expressions of the spirit of revival that will be of a different nature than outpourings of the past. We have been ardently contending for mantels of revelation and power that were demonstrated in prior generations to be mingled with the fresh and unprecedented. Even though the Lord promised Joshua that He would be with him as He was with Moses, the ministry of Joshua had little resemblance to that of Moses. Likewise, though we may carry the same spirit of revelation and power that rested upon prior champions, the model of ministry will be considerably different.

Interestingly, shortly after this experience Wanda and I had the privilege of ministering in a conference alongside Heidi Baker. I took the opportunity to convey this revelation to her and asked her to share some of the confrontations with deep realms of darkness that she has personally experienced as a missionary in Mozambique, Africa. Without a moments hesitation she recounted several encounters with evil beings and people given over to them that most Christians in the West couldn't fathom nor are prepared to deal with.

Even so, the Lord is opening the door of opportunity for us to pay the price as the early apostles did in order to carry this level of spiritual authority and dominion. Clearly the Bible foretells this as part of the last day's ministry. The book of Revelations outlines a period of time in which the enemy is cast down to the Earth with great wrath and anger. Likewise, at that time a voice will be heard in Heaven with a promise to the Lord's people that:

Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. -Revelations 12:10-11

This confrontation is imminent. Since I have been bringing this message we have already noticed numerous accounts in the US media of darkness and spiritual violence that is staggering to the imagination. The prophet clearly admonished us saying:

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. -Isaiah 60:1-3

A Prophecy From 1965

February 26-28, 2009, WhiteDove Ministries hosted one of our most outstanding conferences in recent memory. Our guests Chuck Pierce and Steven Shelley brought incredibly prophetic and relevant messages, not only for the Tucson region but also for this present time in church history.

On the final day of our conference I was pleasantly surprised by a guest who the Lord sent to be a part of our last service. His name is Buford Dowell from Phoenix Arizona. I heard his name mentioned during the Lakeland revival and remembered the mention of a prophecy but knew little else. It was a great pleasure getting to know brother Dowell and hearing his experiences with some of the great healing revivalist of the prior generation.

Most interestingly, he shared with me a conversation that he had with William Branham in June of 1965. Buford Dowell had played the organ for Bro. Branham in a healing meeting in Phoenix and asked Buford to join him for lunch that afternoon. What transpired resulted in a fantastic prophecy that I wholeheartedly believe. The following is an edited transcript of Buford Dowell sharing in our conference his testimony and the encounter with William Branham in June of 1965.

We currently have "Joshua's and Caleb's" in our midst; people that saw things with their own eyes in the prior generation. I like to look someone in the eye when they share a testimony or tell a story of the miraculous; I want to watch their eyes, and I want to hear their voice. I want to know what they saw is truth; you can discern it. A Christian can discern truth from error. So I shared all of that to just set the stage. I am not going to speak tonight; but I want to share an unexpected blessing I received today.

I met a man by the name of Buford Dowell this afternoon. I had heard his name before, and I had heard that he had a prophecy involving William Branham. I found out today, I didn't know this, but in 1965 in this very room he played the organ for William Branham's meetings.

Isn't it amazing that God would send him here for us tonight? A Joshua or a Caleb, I don't know which, it doesn't really matter. Both of them went in and obtained the inheritance.

He was telling me about a day when he had lunch with William Branham. And Brother Branham prophesied to him pretty much what you and I are about to move into in our generation.

So I asked Brother Buford, if he wouldn't mind sharing that testimony. Would you like to hear it? Yes. Please welcome Buford Dowell!

Buford Dowell -- "Would somebody repeat after me my favorite Scripture."

"For this purpose the Son of God was being manifest, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

Guess who He is going to use to do it? William Branham isn't here. I still feel him here. Maybe he's part of that cloud of witnesses, looking in on us. That is something bigger than me.

He's not here. A. A. Allen is not here. His son, Paul Allen is sitting on the front row...I love him to death. We've grown up together. Between him and me, and a couple of seats over, Paul Hammond, we've been all over the world and preached in more tents than Carter's got liver pills.

We've seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I like the good a whole lot better. If Brother Branham was here, if Brother Allen was here or Jack Coe, who laid his giant hands on my little bitty hands when I was around 13 and prayed a big fancy prayer. Said, "Jesus, teach Buford how to play the organ. Amen." Went and sat down.

And I thought in my heart at the time, "Lord, he could have prayed a little longer." But then all of a sudden I remembered like it was yesterday, those are the same hands that I saw reach up and take that cancer on that lady's face and pull it off. I almost fainted when I saw that. There was nothing left but a pink dot.

And I thought, that's the same hands that took that man, whose back was all hunch-backed. He looked like the hunchback of Notre Dame.

Bro. Coe was a big man, and he put his knee on his back, and pulled back on his shoulders and screamed, "Jesus." Then the man went out screaming, and I knew he'd killed him. I knew he was hurt or wounded. I was sitting by the organ. I couldn't play the organ then. I was sitting by the organ, dreaming.

Anybody got a dream in this place? Don't quit dreaming. God will have somebody to lay their hands on you, you will wake up the next day and your dream will become true.

I sat up there and almost fainted when Jack Coe pulled back on that man's shoulders. The man let out a scream that I misinterpreted. And I began to have a suspicion he was hurt. And the man took off running around the building. And when he came back, his back was as straight as mine is, because he was healed.

And then it hit me, "I'm going to play the organ." You see, that was important to me, because I had taken three weeks of piano lessons, and a little 16-year-old concert piano concerto pianist who played like Liberace tried to teach me. And the third week he gave me my second false prophecy. He grabbed the music book, threw it on the floor and said, "You'll never play anything but the radio." Well, that was good for my confidence.

Well, I turned my radio on, Ten years of age at the time; I turned my radio on and listened to A. A. Allen on the radio. I listened to Jack Coe, and some other preachers. I got saved every time. My God, they'd preach it, I could hardly stand it. I could almost smell the smoke.

If the walls of this building could talk they would testify of the miraculous that occurred in this room when I played the organ for William Branham in 1965. I also played for him in Phoenix at the Ramada Inn; and if those walls could talk.

I'm going to tell you what he told me just a few months before the Lord took him home. Today as I was leaving Phoenix to come down here, I took an associate to the airport and I had to drive down Van Beuren in Phoenix. Some of you know where it's at.

And I saw the place where there used to be an old cafeteria. And on the last Sunday afternoon of the crusade in Phoenix in 1965, Brother Branham walked over to the organ after the service and he said, "Son, would you like to go for lunch with me?"

I had seen him many times in different places, and was privileged to be with him on occasion. But that was a joy, and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. "Oh yes, Brother Branham I'd love to have lunch." I was 19 years of age at the time.

I got off the organ. We went and got into his car. It wasn't a fancy Cadillac limousines like some of these preachers have to have today. May God love them. (I'll leave that alone.) But anyway, we got in his car and we drove over to this little cafeteria.

When we got out of the car he said, "Come here, I want to show you something." Gets the key to the trunk, and he opens it up, and to my shock he's got a gun case in there. It was a hunting rifle. It was a 30/30 Winchester. He took it out and handed it to me, "The Winchester Company just mailed this to me," he said. It had his name engraved in gold on the bottom, "Brother William Branham."

I felt like I was almost tucked into the Ark of the Covenant. I didn't know how to shoot it, but I knew it was special. I knew he liked to go deer hunting once in a while. I had some minister friends who liked to go hunting with him.

I said, "Brother Branham, I heard about those times that you would like to go hunting. Brother so-and-so and Brother so-and-so went with you." He confirmed that was true.

Anyway, we went on in the restaurant. And here's what I'm supposed to be telling. We went on in the restaurant, got our food, and we sat down. I'm ashamed to say this, but can I just tell it like it was. I'm just going to tell the truth.

I had in my mind back then that if Brother Branham hired me for an advance man, why I could really help him have big crusades or so I thought. Now, of course, that was my carnal brain. I had helped a few preachers put some ads in the paper, and I had thought I had the answers for the preachers' advertisements

But Brother Branham, he was sitting there and I said, "Brother Branham, you know you're only in your 50's. (Actually Bro. Branham would have been 56 years old) You've got plenty of energy. If you just had the right promotion you could have the biggest crusades you've ever had."

He looked at me and smiled, and dropped his head. He said, "No son," he said, "You see, that's not the way God planned it."

That wasn't really what I wanted to hear, but how do you tell William Branham something you didn't want to hear. He was speaking for God, and I was listening with my old carnal brain. I said, "What do you mean, Brother Branham?"

He said, "Well, you see, God's through with me." And I almost fell off my seat. I said, "What do you mean about that? You've got plenty of years left?"

He said, "Well my season has come to a close." He went on to explain how he had been part of a great season of healing revivals; He mentioned all the Voice of Healing preachers, many of them. He mentioned Brother Allen and others. He had been in some of my father's meetings, and he was kind to mention that. Dad had a great Holy Ghost anointing.

Dad and my mother could get more people through the baptism than Elvis Presley could get in his concert. Sometimes 1500 people could get the baptism, because they had a love to see people get the Holy Ghost.

We need a fresh infilling and baptism into the Holy Spirit. I'm not just talking about tongues, that's wonderful; We're going to have to learn to walk in the Spirit to get the job done in this hour.

Brother Branham said, "I've been in this season where we laid hands on people one at a time, and we saw blind eyes open, cancers disappear, the lame walk. And oh, it was wonderful."

But he said, "I am about to leave you because God is done with me but another season is coming; And this season is going to be teaching and revelation of the Word of Jesus Christ; who we are in Him, and who He is in us." Not just Jesus hanging on the cross. That's wonderful. But religion will leave Him on the cross.

Brother Branham went on to emphasize, "It's about Jesus in us, and us in Him." And he said, "This teaching season will go for a while, and then it will come to a close. And God is going to take every move of God in history, and even what we witnessed, and what we saw in Bible days, and put it all together in one great Holy Ghost bomb and drop it on Planet Earth, and the nations will rock and reel with the power of God, like we've never seen.

On Prime Time News, not the late night talk/gab shows, not the preachers; the Prime Time News will show the dead being raised, and limbs created, and eyes being put back in eye sockets, arms stretching out. And preachers won't lay their hands on them like we did; they will simply speak the word and blindness will leave.

There'll be so many people, no auditorium, no church; no arena will hold the people. And no tent. He said, "They'll even stand in an open field. It's going to happen in America. Brother Branham said, "God is going to bring the ministry of the apostles and the prophets to the forefront. "

How many of you can remember when you never heard the word "apostle or prophet" in your churches? All we heard was pastors and teachers, evangelists, because they'd been pushed in the background.

Jesus said. (I didn't say it, William Branham didn't say it) "Jesus said that His Church would be founded on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ the Head." The fivefold ministry functioning in the Body of Christ!

God's bringing them forth, into the forefront. But Branham said to me, "They will have the mind of God, and the heart of God, and the Voice of God. And when they speak, their words will become the Words of God." They won't say what man says. They won't say what denominations say or tradition or any of that. They will speak as the oracle of God. And they won't just speak about the future. Anybody that reads the Bible can do that. You don't even have to have the Holy Ghost to talk about the future.

We've got a lot of people running around calling themselves prophets. But simply calling yourself a prophet doesn't necessarily make you a prophet. When this group emerges, they will speak as the oracle of God, whatever they say; God will create it because it will be His time, His will and His Word. And it won't be about the ministers, it will be about Him.

If I learned anything, traveling with these precious men of God from the past whom I love very much and could tell countless testimonies of miracles and deliverance, but the greatest miracle of all is the miracle of millions of people coming to Jesus.

I got to sit right here in this room and play the organ in 1965 and watched them come to Jesus. I saw people come and get saved. I could see the conviction of God on them; the Holy Ghost changed their lives right in front of me.

One time in Bro. Allen's meeting, I got off the organ and I told the associate, "I've got to go pray." Went to my room and I stayed in my room for three days, got saved all over again; because people were getting more than I was getting. I sat on the organ so long, I had backslid. I'm just being honest with you.

The greatest place to lose your walk with God is sitting in the church somewhere, with your mind tied up and tangled up in religion and stuff, and all these do's and don'ts. But if you want to know Jesus, He is here.

Oral Roberts laid his hands on my hands when I was ten years old. I had no idea what he was doing. He said, "Jesus, bless this boy. Let him take Your healing power to the nations."

I didn't want to go nowhere. I was comfortable at home. I had my bicycle and Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, black and white TV set. What else could a boy want?

God put the desire in my heart to sit on that organ. I saw the power of God so much in those crusades till I couldn't sit there. I'd go to the hotel and motel, and I'd dream at night, and I'd be preaching and praying for the sick in my dreams.

Finally, I took $8000.00. That's all I had. Went to Nassau, Bahamas and rented a ball park. Put money on advertising. Shipped a little half pint organ, a little Spinet; Put a microphone on it so they could hear it. 9-thousand people showed up. And I didn't know what to do with them.

I just played the organ and sang and testified. And when I ran out, I started all over again. And they got to singing, praising God with me. And in a few nights the crowd was getting bigger. When it was raining, they wouldn't go home. I was soaking wet, so were they. But we just kept having church.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I wound up going all over the world in missionary crusades, because somebody took the time to bless me and say, "Let him take your healing power to the nations.

I believe God's going to do it. I believe God's going to do it. Here's the bottom line. "All of it, past, present, future is not about men. They're just men. It's all about Jesus."

When Brother Allen went to be with the Lord, I raced across America to get there in time for the funeral at Miracle Valley. And I didn't make it. I got somewhere down there, and I missed the funeral. And I was weeping and I said, "God, I didn't want to miss that funeral. He was such a blessing to me." And God said, "It wasn't about him, it was about My deposit that I put in him." He said, "Son, you can have the same."

T. L. Osborne said, "William Branham was raised up to show the Body of Christ that we can do what Jesus did." It wasn't just about his message, it was all about Jesus. You can lay your hands on the sick and God will heal them.

God spoke to me on the way to this service. God said, "I'm tired of you just praying for people to be healed. Pray for them that they'd open their heart and let Me move in, and bring My healing with Me. And it'll flow through them to somebody else that's sick, and it will flow through that person to somebody else that's sick. From Paul it will flow through to another person.

"Don't you want to be used of God?" God wants every person in this place to be a channel. Give Him a handclap.

Paul Keith Davis. "If you believe that, say, "That's nothing but the truth. Nothing but the Truth. I believe it.

You can look into his eye. Do you believe it? That man, this brother, was with William Branham only to promote his ministry. Brother Branham said, "That's not going to happen. My life is coming to an end."

He told me over here earlier today, "That was six months before Brother Branham died in 1965." Just before William Branham left he said, "Something is coming."

It's about a Body of people, walking with God, becoming the habitation of Him. It's not just about miracles, but it's about God in us. We are about to encounter great realms of darkness. If we don't get that level of the Lord in us, we're not going to be able to meet the needs of our generation. That's it.

He said, "Every mantle, every anointing, every commissioning that has existed will be dumped into our day." And we've been through this qualification process. It's not about how much we have done or what we have performed, but instead it's about how emptied are you. "How much have you pulled back your breastbone to allow God to extract the tares of our soul.

I couldn't have preached a message any better than what he just preached. I want this man of God to release into us what he has seen and carried and begin to walk it.We're going to pray for you still, but I want this to be released. And we're going to pray for him. Would you do that?

Buford Dowell -If you went to the doctor and he examined you, and he gives you a prescription, most of you would go to the drug store and get the prescription.

Well I've got a Holy Ghost prescription. There's a book laying back there. Have you got them with you? "The Price of God's Miracle Working Power…" Perhaps one of the most powerful books A. A. Allen wrote.

If you've got it, you can give it. I've got healing power in my hands, just like this brother. Jack Coe laid his hands on me and God taught me how to play the organ. Now everybody's not going to be an organist here, but if you've got a desire, the Lord will give you a gift, a talent. Maybe it's to play the piano, the guitar, or sing, or write poetry, or just a gift.

I want to impart the spirit of gifts… The Bible said, "Every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord." I don't play the organ because I was born with talent, I couldn't even play the radio without getting stuck.

A man of God imparted that anointing into my hands, and I started doing what I couldn't do before within four weeks. I was playing in Dallas at his church. And within two months I was playing before 10-20-thousand people in worship. And I didn't even know but how to play but two keys.

We're going to pray. And it's not because of how great we are, but because of how great He is. And I pray to God that you'll never look at another national evangelist on TV without seeing Jesus. If you don't see Jesus, you've missed it. If you see all the sizzle and all the glamor and the gold and whatever, you missed what God wants you to see.

When you leave this meeting and you haven't had an encounter with Jesus, you've missed what this is all about. "Am I right?"

Father, on Your Word. Brother Branham preached this Word and You confirmed it with signs and wonders and miracles. And T. L. Osborne was sitting in the audience and never had a miracle. And he went home and said "God, if You can do it for that humble man, You can do it for me."

And he got on a plane; he and Daisy went to India. And that was the beginning of one of the greatest evangelistic ministries this planet ever saw. Father if you can do it for them, you can do it again; and You've given me something, and I'm giving you all the honor.

Now in Jesus' Name, these men join with me, and we transfer our anointing. We transfer our gifting into this congregation. If you'll open your heart right now, Jesus will walk right into it and bring everything that you want with Him. Hallelujah.

Open up, open up, open up in Jesus Name. Come on in, Lord Jesus. Say it again. Come on in. Bring everything I need to do the work. Your life will never be the same. Amen

William Branham-A Forerunner Ministry - Paul Keith Davis

During the early 1930s an extraordinarily gifted prophet began to emerge as a spiritual leader of a new ministry model. His name was William Branham. He was a very simple, uneducated man raised in the hills of Kentucky and ordained as a Baptist minister. Even so, God wonderfully graced this humble man with a revelatory gift and supernatural power not seen since the early Church. Not only were the miracles and healings that accompanied his ministry astounding, but he was also shown numerous future events with remarkable accuracy that now are a matter of historical record.

Following a series of evangelistic meetings, Branham held a baptismal service on June 11, 1933, for new converts. Some four thousand people lined the banks of the Ohio River to observe and celebrate the service. While baptizing the seventeenth person, a whirling amber light descended from Heaven and rested directly above Branham. Virtually all the witnesses present could see this supernatural sign. Many eyewitnesses ran in fear, while others fell to their knees and worshipped because they recognized this was God doing something truly extraordinary.

In this experience God gave William Branham a forerunner message for his life and ministry. I believe he was a token or prototype of an entire body of people who will emerge as Jesus' bridal company. By his own acknowledgment, Branham was a harbinger of something new and fresh the Lord planned for the last days. This supernatural dimension will be commonplace in end-time life and ministry.

Numerous news organizations picked up the story and circulated it around the U.S. and Canada. One headline read, "Mysterious Light Appears over Baptist Minister While Baptizing in the Ohio River." The Jeffersonville Evening News reported the incident with the subheading, "Mysterious Star Appears over Minister While Baptizing." Though many may debate the full meaning of the event, its authenticity is not disputed.

This public display of God's awesome power framed a heavenly intention. No design of Heaven is ever administered futilely. Every word and demonstration that proceeds from the mouth and hand of God will return fruitfully. A Kingdom message for today's Church was sent to that prior generation-and we are responsible for its consummation. The Living Word desires to rest in His bride. Jesus wants to become flesh once more and demonstrate His Kingdom power and redemptive virtue.

Early Supernatural Models

If that episode on the Ohio River was just an isolated incident then we could be thrilled by such a display of God's power and move on. However, that was only one of many expressions of God in the life of this forerunner.

During his early ministry, Branham had several supernatural experiences for which he had no frame of reference or ability to understand. Neither he nor those with whom he was in ministry relationship comprehended the revelatory realm of God. Only the Bible provided any source of enlightenment; very few people had personally experienced this supernatural dimension of God. Unfortunately, most Christians at the time believed those kinds of expressions had happened in the Bible but did not any longer. Words like trance and vision rarely existed in the spiritual vocabulary of that day.

The years after World War I were difficult. Few people had access to libraries or Christian material. Branham, raised in extreme poverty in the hills of Kentucky, certainly had no way of researching how God's supernatural power had manifested throughout Church history. Nonetheless, the Spirit showed him things that would occur in the future. He shared those encounters openly with those around him. To everyone's amazement, the events came to pass in precisely the manner he predicted. Tremendous healings frequently accompanied his revelatory experiences.

It wasn't until an angelic visitation on May 7, 1946, though, that Branham came to understand more fully the purpose and validity of the supernatural dimension into which he had been thrust. This minister of God was desperate to understand the spiritual realms he was witnessing or he would die trying. He set his intent on discovering whether his visions and trances were from God or from the enemy. He loved the Lord too much to allow deception to rule him.

Branham withdrew to a secluded wooded area in rural Indiana. There was no food, electricity, or other provision. All he did was lay before God in humility and sincerity. Wonderfully, the Lord answered the cry of His servant.

An angel was sent to Branham and told him about his life and calling in a face to face encounter. This heavenly messenger came to impart spiritual understanding and a divine commission.

The Commissioning

According to Branham's personal testimony which he often shared publicly during the late '40s and throughout the '50s, something supernatural occurred late that night after many hours of prayer. A heavenly light appeared; it looked like an amber or emerald star of fire, illuminating the room around him. It was the same manifestation that had appeared over the Ohio River thirteen years earlier. At that moment Branham heard footsteps walking toward him and saw someone standing in the light.

An angelic messenger greeted him as in the Bible: "Fear not, for I am sent from the presence of Almighty God." The angel, according to Branham, was six feet tall and weighed approximately two hundred pounds. He had an olive complexion, with dark hair that touched his shoulders, and he wore a white robe that reached to his feet. As soon as Branham heard the greeting, he recognized the angel's voice as the one he had heard throughout his youth and early ministry.

An appointed juncture in Church history had arrived. The Lord was looking for a messenger to fulfill a divine mandate and to introduce the supernatural dimension of Heaven to a new generation. Clearly the humility and devotion of Branham captured Heaven's attention and opened the door for this man to be used in significant ways. A plan, initiated before the foundation of the world, was set in motion for him. The time had arrived for destiny to be fulfilled.

The angel informed Branham that he was called to take a message of divine healing around the world. The angel promised him that if he could get people to believe, nothing would hinder the fulfillment of his prayers-not even cancer. Branham introduced his generation, and ours, to the revelatory realm of Heaven. These signs and wonders acted as a platform to birth faith in the supernatural power of God.

Notable supernatural impartation was released during this visitation. The angel told him that just like Moses, he would be given two gifts as signs of this impartation. Whenever he took a person's right hand with his left, he would by revelation perceive the person's physical condition. This was the first spiritual gift: it allowed the minister to detect through revelatory insight the specific illnesses, demonic oppressions, and deadly diseases afflicting the people.

Whenever Branham prophesied a precise illness or condition, his listeners' faith in God was elevated, allowing incredible healing and miracles. His first public healing meeting after his commissioning took place on June 14, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri. Immediately creative miracles and phenomenal demonstrations of healing were generated on such a massive scale that theologians termed it an unprecedented event in Church history. As Gordon Lindsay once said, "there were no hard cases." No matter how severe the malady, the Lord was present to heal.

The angel promised Branham that God would give him a second gift if he used the first with humility. The next gift gave him discernment of thoughts and secrets of the heart and would take people to an even deeper level of faith.

As Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well had, the unfolding of personal history and intimate secrets ignited faith. People rose above shame and unbelief and engaged the revelatory realm of Heaven. Their response is a prophetic model for our generation.

The Bible declares that the living Word is alive, active, and a discerner of the thoughts and desires of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). The gift of discernment offers a far greater dimension in God than the expression of a simple "word of knowledge." It is a reflection that the Lord has removed the veil dividing soul and spirit, and all things are open and exposed to Him.

When operating in the gift of revelatory discernment, Branham would stand before the people and communicate, by supernatural insight, their name, illness, history, address, private prayers and desires, and many other secrets known only to the Lord. Those present in those meetings testify that this dimension of God generated a tangible expectation of faith. People believed that anything was possible in such an atmosphere of heavenly anointing.

The messenger from Heaven shared many things with Branham during their lengthy conversation. Branham's ministry introduced a different dimension in God, not seen or demonstrated on such a scale at any time throughout Church history. Its foundation was a union with Christ, with the Lord living in the midst of His people and doing, through them, the same works that He did while on earth.

Gordon Lindsay, founder of Christ for the Nations, wrote of this spiritual experience: "The results of the angelic visitation to William Branham have been a steadily rising tide of revival that has sounded out throughout the world, and the end is not yet."

Igniting Revival

Following his angelic encounter, Brother Branham emerged with a deep anointing of revelation and power that directly or indirectly touched millions of people and launched a worldwide revival. Countless thousands were miraculously healed of the most hideous infirmities and deadly diseases during the ministry of this man and others who followed.

Naturally God puts His great treasures in earthen vessels. Like all human beings-with the exception of Jesus Christ-Brother Branham made mistakes and missteps along the way. Even so, his revelatory encounters were marked with uncanny accuracy. It is the revelation of Heaven that is of paramount importance. But just as important is the proper stewardship of the treasures of insight and wisdom with application today; we must carefully unfold God's blueprint.

A divine presence distinguished Branham's life and ministry. The living Word discerned, and communicated through Branham, the thoughts of the heart with profound precision. He was given glimpses into the plan and destiny of Heaven for individuals and corporate bodies. His ministry was a forerunner model that foresaw the impact of a body of believers who will emerge in our day and embody the living Word. The signs and wonders that follow will release a bridal revival that will be identified according to John 14:12-a "greater works" generation.

Extracting Understanding

It is always wonderful to recount stories of God's goodness to people. However, there is much more for us to understand about God's dealings with Branham's generation. A platform had been established for heavenly truth, and we must comprehend the significance of this type of ministry for our generation. These events were much more than revival; they were the beginning of end-time ministry; they pointed to a generation of destiny prophesied in Scripture. As with Moses, these signs were given so that the people would believe.

The time has come to revisit the awesome visions given to this godly man, along with the other pieces of the divine puzzle entrusted to other Christians. Like Daniel studying the prophecies of Jeremiah, we should meditate upon these supernatural encounters to extract their application to both Branham's time and our own. We can learn from past mistakes and extract the seeds of God, replanting them in the soil of our honest and sincere hearts.

As in the days of Moses and the Lord Jesus, the enemy recognizes times and seasons that mark the appearance of spiritual deliverers. Rampant abortion, murder, and suicide should be a clear indication of the efforts used by the enemy to stop the emergence of mighty spiritual warriors. He wants to snuff out those endowed with the virtue of Heaven to carry out the plan of God.

A day of destiny is upon us. The "victorious ones" mentioned in the prophecies of Joel are being prepared to emerge as an army, the bridal company joined to the Bridegroom.

Ending an Age

With that brief history in mind, we should revisit a trance given to William Branham in June 1933.

On that day he was taken in the Spirit and told of Mussolini's impending invasion of Ethiopia and eventual death in 1945. Branham was shown that an Austrian named Hitler would rise as dictator of Germany and lead the world into another war. He was also shown that America would be drawn into a Second World War under Roosevelt's leadership and likewise saw a specific location where many Americans would die in battle-a prophetic picture of the place known as the Siegfried line.

Furthermore, the vision emphasized that there were three "isms"-fascism, Nazism, and communism-to watch for. The first two would come to naught, he was told, but communism would continue to flourish after the war. He was specifically informed that Russia would play a prominent role as a world power in the future.

Along with the political events, other insights were given concerning science, the moral decline of the nations, and the spiritual compromise and confrontations of the Western Church. All these spiritual forecasts were shared publicly years before they actually occurred.

In one insight, Branham was given the year 1977 as a pivotal time. Although he acknowledged that he didn't understand the full implications of that year, Branham predicted that something major would occur in 1977 to mark the end of the Laodicean church age. He was careful to note that the prediction was not a "thus saith the Lord" like the other world events revealed in the trance, but rather a calculation based on the insight from the revelations.

As the years passed, this personal prediction prompted a lot of misunderstanding. Many people believed that he was foretelling the rapture of the Church or the return of Christ. However, that was not what he had stated and, furthermore, the Bible plainly declares that we will not know the day nor the hour of those events.

Something spiritually profound did occur in 1977, though. God had a grand design that was meticulously falling into place for a future generation through the numerous supernatural wonders He was performing. Great spiritual investments were being made to position us for an inevitable day of destiny. The transition into our day had begun.

1977

In 1977 Roland Buck, a dearly beloved pastor of an Assembly of God Church in Boise, Idaho visited Heaven's throne room, initiating a string of visitations from the angel Gabriel. On twenty-seven separate occasions, this archangel, often accompanied by other ministering spirits and warring angels, visited with Buck.

In October 2002 Wanda and I had the privilege of spending a morning with Roland Buck's widow and daughter in Boise, Idaho. They shared with us some of the highlights of Buck's encounters with the messengers from Heaven, and unquestionably something of notable prophetic consequence occurred during those few years. An appointed time, set by the Father Himself, had arrived, for in Buck our Lord found the qualities He desired.

If the angel Gabriel is sent as a messenger, it behooves us to discover the heart and strategy of the Father in that endeavor. The Bible records that universal transitions and transformations occur following visitations with this particular angel. While we only desire Jesus Christ and the life He gives us, history clearly indicates that significant world events occur when we encounter high-ranking spiritual beings like Gabriel and Michael. That pattern continues today.

Heavenly Directives

The angelic messenger told Buck many of God's plans in preparation for the latter-day confrontation with darkness. Gabriel highlighted emphatically the power of redemption purchased through the blood of Jesus Christ. He stressed that very few Christians fully comprehend or appropriate the power imparted to them through heavenly grace. Many walk well below their allotted provision because of deceptive and seductive spirits that steal their heritage in Christ.

Buck was also informed of Heaven's concentrated efforts to bring workers into the Kingdom in preparation for a great harvest. He was shown how angels are assigned to labor together with the saints. When believers pray earnestly for loved ones' salvation, angels are empowered to awaken the lost in their cooperative work with the Holy Spirit.

Throughout the visitations, Gabriel emphasized the importance of communion with Christ and intimate fellowship with God. The Lord Jesus is looking to sanctify wholly the spirit, soul, and body of a company of believers and take up residence in them to do greater works. Yet Heaven's endowment for these greater works will only be unleashed by radical intimacy and friendship with God. Waiting on the Lord will be the key to launching many into the mystical realms of Heaven.

Gabriel also highlighted the prophetic implications of the feasts of Israel. The careful and meticulous plan of Heaven is being carried out. The Lord has provided the blueprint through His Word, and now revelation and insight are being apportioned and authority delegated to actualize that Word. Clearly the visitations of the archangel Gabriel were addressing the maturing of the times and the emergence of the saints.

Buck's experiences marked a transition from what has been known as the Church ages into a more complete revelation of the Kingdom realm. Most importantly, it marked the passage into a day when the fullness of the overcoming King will be introduced. We are entering the days in which we will taste the good word of God and the powers of the age to come. Fresh releases of power and authority are being entrusted to an overcoming body of believers. We must claim this revelation of Heaven and walk in the destiny ordained for this season.
