Kingdom Finances (Part 3) - Israel Onoriobe
The Market Place Entrepreneur:
God is transferring wealth into the hands of those who are Kingdom minded in order to fulfill His purpose in the earth. Financial resources are coming into the Body of Christ for the purpose of Kingdom advancement. The wealth should be used absolutely for His Kingdom and purposes, and nothing else.
God is raising a company of people that will facilitate a breakthrough in the nations and take the Church into a new level of influence, power and authority.
“And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work. And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.” (Exodus 35: 30-35).
“I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” (Proverbs 8:12).
The ministry of entrepreneurs in the market place will begin to manifest in a broader sense and take its position and function effectively. The function of the market place entrepreneurs is to teach, train and equip others. By the Spirit of God, these entrepreneurs possess excellent wisdom, understanding, knowledge and skills in their specific arena. These will find out knowledge of witty inventions (Proverbs 8:12) and model Christ in the market place.
These experienced and influential individuals will function, not as traditional pastors or five-fold ministry, but as business leaders. From these leaders the Church will receive impartation and carry the same grace by the Spirit of God.
These leaders will enter the market place and bring in the wealth of the wicked to advance the purposes of God. These market place entrepreneurs are the doctors, lawyers, teachers, bankers, government officials, businessmen and women, CEO’s and educators.
These apostles will make the secular kingdoms to become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ (Revelation 11:15).
Education and training is essential for the apostles and market place entrepreneurs to emerge from the Church, and be released into society with distinction and excellence. The Church must be ready and prepared for this! We need to begin to train our own. We need to encourage the saints to study and continue their secular education, so they can come forth and be released. The time is NOW!
“Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” (Isaiah 45:1-3).
These will bear a Cyrus anointing to subdue nations and walk in divine favour and cause the loins of kings to be loosed, to open the two-leaved gates to advance the Kingdom of God. Limitations will be broken and treasures of darkness and hidden riches will be discovered. The purpose of the market place entrepreneurs is to facilitate the proclamation of the gospel to all nations and to bring about the restoration and the rebuilding of the house of God.
There are specific nations we cannot enter at this time as ministers of the gospel of the Kingdom of God, because they prohibit the activities of Christianizing of their citizens. The only way we can prevail and invade these nations is to raise up and send in professional personnel who have been discipled in the word and in the principles of the Kingdom, and they will be able to make a significant impart that will break the strongholds in these nations to open the doors for the liberation of God’s people to freely express themselves to God.
There must be a rebirth of the Church in an apostolic foundation to put order and bring grace for God’s purpose. This will help the Church to train and release the market place entrepreneurs, discharging the doctors, lawyers, economists, scientists, accountants, diplomats, business leaders, and journalists who will pioneer change in the nations towards the finality of God’s purpose. God is releasing the capacity and resources to train these leaders and believers – the wealth is coming back to the Church for the purpose of God, and we need to be prepared to receive this. We must begin to train and prepare the Body of Christ to infiltrate and invade the world by affecting our communities through these market place entrepreneurs.
“…..that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth” (Romans 9:11b).
The purpose of God is activated according to our calling so that His name might be declared throughout all the earth. The call activates the purpose of God. Whether the call is local, national, or global, a measure of wealth is released to achieve God’s purpose through that ministry. The flow will vary in accordance with the need. When we begin to walk in a global mentality of Kingdom values, we will begin to see God open the doors so that the resources can flow in a global measure.
The present season demands for people who have an understanding of apostolic revelations and authority, to unlock and disengage the harvest field as wealth, prosperity and finances come. We should cut the flow of our resources to ministers and ministries that are not engaged in Kingdom activities to bring in lost souls. This demands that we should find the right kingdom ministers and ministries with a Kingdom focus who have a passion for souls, and are busy strategizing to bring in the harvest so we can increase our giving to such places.
We are living in the time where wealth and financial resources need to be channelled into the right ministries that are serving the purposes of God. We should be very careful where we sow our seeds, as that will greatly determine our harvest.
Kingdom Finances (Part 2) - Israel Onoriobe
Purpose of prosperity:
“So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward. And David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him. And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house. And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel's sake.” (2 Samuel 5:9-12).
In alignment with God’s plan, financial resources are tools to advance His Kingdom in the earth. The throne of King David and his kingdom was established to bless the children of Israel, God’s chosen people. The purpose of God’s blessing upon the Church individually and corporately is for the advancement of His Kingdom. Financial resources are provided to advance Kingdom purposes.
“Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem. Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem .” (Zechariah 1:16-17).
Regardless of the level of anointing and revelation possessed, the ministry of the gospel is hampered through lack of finance. Money is a force that causes significant breakthroughs. It opens doors for the message of the Kingdom to advance. A prosperous Church has access to the nations of the earth. As a result, the message of the gospel is proclaimed and the Kingdom of God established.
The availability of God’s resources should go beyond our four walls for the completion of God’s divine purpose for our lives and ministry in a global scale.
“"But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:18 NASB).
The power to make wealth is given to advance the Kingdom of God and to confirm His covenant. The gospel of the Kingdom is free, but is not cheap. It cost God something precious, the life of His only begotten Son. Proclamation of the gospel to the nations requires money and resources. The apostolic work requires money and resources. A poor Church cannot reach beyond its community because it is financially incapacitated. In the Church, prosperity is a tool that will advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.
In the area of finance and prosperity, the Church has too often operated under the mind-set of survival schemes, rather than Kingdom trust. Provision cannot exceed revelation. What can be comprehended is believed and therefore received. Right motives and attitudes enable the Church to seek God’s will concerning prosperity. He will give us wisdom to develop strategies to obtain the wealth that has been laid up. Remember, ‘God loves and takes pleasure in the prosperity of His saints’ (Psalm 35:27).
A father’s heart is to give to his sons. A father is supply oriented. God is our Father, our source, and our supply. Through Christ, the Church has access to unlimited resources.
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).
Principles of Prosperity:
The principle of prosperity is an established order that God has set in place for His people. This order has nothing to do with the law, because the principle of tithe and giving was established before the Mosaic Law was received.
Giving of the tithe brings protection, giving of offerings brings increase. The “good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over” experience described in Luke 6:38 is a product of the ability to give. Access to this realm is not by prayer and fasting, but by cheerful giving alone.
Giving and tithing do not affect our eternal welfare, yet these actions affect our welfare on earth. In response to giving, God promised to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessing (Malachi 3:10 -11). Under an open heaven there is a release of God’s goodness, rain in its season, blessed work and the ability to lend to many nations.
The Body of Christ walks under a curse if this principle is not observed.
“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 3:8-12).
The curse must be broken through our giving in order for God to release the blessings, the wealth and the resources needed for the harvest of the nations. Tithing was not part of the Mosaic Law as given by God through Moses, but it was commemorated under the law and commended in the New Covenant. There is no scriptural basis in the New Covenant that states the abolishment of the principle of tithing.
Care in sowing is necessary. There is no receipt without giving and no harvest unless seed is sown. So too, God’s eternal zoe is released upon those who invest into His eternal purpose, His Kingdom.
Another prosperity principle is to honour the apostles and other five-fold ministries. God has released ministry gifts during this season of reformation and His blessings are activated when these ministries are honoured. We must receive and minister to the apostolic and five-fold ministries to release the gift of grace in them. As much as we can, we should teach our people to bless the apostle who comes to the ministry, as well as other ministry gifts. It is wrong to receive an apostolic ministry without making any effort to minister to them. The grace of an apostle is fully released when we learn to appreciate the apostles, by receiving and ministering to them, this applies to all ministry gifts that gives and releases an impartation in our lives and ministries.
Many leaders speak about sowing and reaping, giving and receiving, but they themselves do not practice what they preach. We must live by example and express a lifestyle of giving and sowing.
“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. "He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.” (Matthew 10:40-41 NASB).
When the five-fold ministry comes, an offering should be given to minister to them, if they do not come, an offering can be sent. These actions demonstrate our commitment and loyalty to the ministry gifts.
The challenge for the Church is to embrace God as their source and supply and to develop a generous, giving character.
The beggarly mentality will never be broken off the African church and the churches in the under-developed nations, and they will not be able to come into maturity, unless giving and blessing are both taught in a balanced biblical order, and accomplished. This has nothing to do with the excesses of the faith movement and prosperity syndrome of “speak it and claim it”, but it is the development of a generous character where their dependency lies not in the Western churches and ministers, but their source becomes God, and this is expressed by their lifestyle of giving.
It is very important to establish the principle of giving in the Church so that the five-fold ministry will be well received and blessed. It is important that we always bless the ministers every time – no matter how small the offering is. We give of our natural things and get spiritual things. The five-fold ministry will be well received and blessed by the Church when the principle of giving is established and continued.
“Anyone who is learning the teaching of God should share all the good things he has with his teacher.” (Galatians 6:6 – New Century Version).
An apostle and the other five-fold ministry gifts should not become a burden to the local assembly, especially when sent to other local assemblies and into other cities and nations. They should not be an encumbrance to the saints. Let each minister, acknowledge and look on God as his only source of supply.
“Here for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I do not seek what is yours, but you; for children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but parents for their children. And I will most gladly spend and be expended for your souls. If I love you the more, am I to be loved the less? But be that as it may, I did not burden you myself; nevertheless, crafty fellow that I am, I took you in by deceit. Certainly I have not taken advantage of you through any of those whom I have sent to you, have I? I urged Titus to go, and sent the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselves in the same spirit and walk in the same steps? All this time you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you. Actually, it is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ; and all for your upbuilding, beloved.” (2 Corinthians 12:14-19 NASB ).
Stewardship of that which is released by God will ensure appropriate use of resources. Stewardship involves the administration of God’s resources with integrity and disciplined financial management. Stewards are accountable to God for the management of financial resources. We must express a life of simplicity and be ready to give an account of our stewardship at all times.
Stewardship – the Greek word “oikonomia”, which means an administrator or one with an economy dispensation, a special consideration or privilege. Apostles should be accountable and trusted with finances as good stewards.
“…..for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need…..” (Acts 4:34b-35).
The early apostles were men of integrity and were accountable for the finances received for the work of the ministry. They were so trusted that the money was placed at the apostles’ feet for distribution to meet the needs of the early Church.
The current concept of getting money down at the apostles’ feet to enrich him is unbiblical. The early Church placed money on the apostles’ feet for the purpose of distribution to meet the needs of the people, and this resulted in the early Church choosing out men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and of wisdom, who they appointed over this business, while they gave themselves to the ministry of the Word and prayers. The money was not given for the personal enrichment of the apostles, but for the service of the Kingdom.
In this season of transition, God will release great wealth, and the apostles along with the other five-fold ministry gifts should be ready to distribute this wealth for the ministry of the Kingdom of God.
Kingdom Finances (Part 1) - Israel Onoriobe
In every fresh and chronological period God always restores His purpose, and God has renewed His purpose and covenant with His people in each new season of transition. Examples of this abound, such as when God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt with four hundred and thirty years wages (Exodus 12:31 -36).
We are stepping into a new season in God and we are maturing in it. In the present transition, God is effecting change through acceleration of time. He is shifting the power to increase wealth for His covenant purpose to be established through the advancement of His Kingdom. This shift will bring finances and resources into the Church.
He is speeding up the time in such a way that it will bring about a shifting in the kingdoms of the earth for finances and resources to come forth into the hands of those who are Kingdom minded. God will not give these resources to self-willed and high-minded leaders, or those who merchandise the gifts and purposes of God for their own gain and achievement, or for those who seek to build their own names and their kingdoms to reflect their pride and arrogance.
The present transfer of wealth to the Church is for God’s covenant purpose, to establish His Kingdom on earth (Proverbs 13:22).
“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” (Amos 9:13-5).
The Spirit of God has declared this acceleration and the grace to overtake is upon the Church in this hour.
Wealth includes material substances and pecuniary resources. Wealth is necessary to accomplish God’s plan on earth. God’s goal is to finish His purpose on the earth, hence economic empowerment and affluence must come to the Body of Christ.
“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.” (Ecclesiastes 10:19).
Far from being worldly or carnally minded, the Church speaks of wealth, prosperity and finance for the purpose of Kingdom advancement. Nothing is accomplished without financial input. Money is needed to fulfill God’s purpose on earth. The problem is that there has been a misconception and abuse of this within the Church circle by men of greed and gain consciousness.
Scripture has two basic positions on this topic:
1. Wealth, prosperity and finance is acknowledged as God’s blessing upon the lives of His people. The will of God for His Church is prosperity!
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” (Psalm 35:27).
“If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.” (Job 36:11-12).
Prosperity is not attained, but it has been atoned for in Jesus Christ. Prosperity is a benefit and inheritance as a son of the Kingdom. It is a benefit from God to us. It is our right to have it.
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9).
2. Wealth, prosperity and finance is a spiritual force that can affect our spiritual walk and maturity if our pursuit for riches, fortune and pleasure is depraved.
Greed and misappropriation of Kingdom finance is sin. What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the world and lose his soul? (Matthew 16:26). A distorted view of finance is likely to be accompanied by a distorted view of the Kingdom. We must understand the purpose God has released this to us. We should not pursue the carnal things of the earth because of greed, least we lose everything at the obliteration of our very soul. The goal of prosperity is to be rich in order to reach others for the Kingdom.
The Mystery of the Ages (Part 4) - Israel Onoriobe
The New Jerusalem:
Much of the eschatological doctrine, teachings, and understanding are that the New Jerusalem is the City of God, and it is called “heaven”, which is a place we are to inhabit when we are rapture.
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” (Revelation 3:12).
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;” (Revelation 21:1-11).
The New Jerusalem is not a place called heaven that we are to inherit or inhabit, but the New Jerusalem is a revelation of a “corporate person” who is the bride that comes out from heaven. The name that is written upon him that overcomes is the name of the city of God called “New Jerusalem”. In other words, the person’s name is New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is not a place, but a personality that bears the new name or the nature of God.
Let us compare and make the connection with Revelation 3:12 and Revelation 21:1-10. You will clearly see and understand that “the Overcomer” is the Bride, the Lamb’s wife and she is called the “Holy City” which is the New Jerusalem which descends from a place called heaven.
The natural city of God under the old covenant has been Jerusalem, which is located in the North of the Middle East. The city of God is neither a natural place nor a spiritual place called heaven, but it is a person (a corporate man) that descends out from heaven. The Man Child came out from heaven to rule the nations (Revelation 12:1-5).
Understand that in the new covenant all things become new and the city of God no longer becomes a natural place neither a spiritual place called heaven, but the City of God is now a person (corporate man) that descends out from heaven. Understand that the Man Child came from heaven to rule the nations (Revelation 12:1-5). Just as under the new covenant, the Israel of God no longer becomes the natural Jews, but has become a spiritual company of people (Church) that has become the habitation of God, which includes redeemed and engrafted Gentiles. This same truth applies to the concept of the New Jerusalem from above. She is the mother of us all.
“For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” (Galatians 4:25, 26).
If the New Jerusalem is a place called heaven, the scripture wouldn’t say that the New Jerusalem is descending from heaven, but would have said, the New Jerusalem that is heaven came down or is descending down. (Selah).
If we desire to inhabit the City of God called the New Jerusalem as heaven, then we will begin to move into a concept of taking the natural Jerusalem in Israel to be the Kingdom of God. This was the concept of the Zionism movement in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s that became a part of the people that have brought the rapture theory into play today.
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” (Isaiah 2:2-3).
The New Jerusalem is the ‘mountain of the Lord’. This mountain of the Lord is the house of God (The Church). What we inherit is not a heavenly place in the sky somewhere, but we inherit the New Jerusalem which is the very nature of a heavenly being and entity which we are to become upon the earth when God ultimately finalizes His divine purposes in us and in the earth.
The desire to inhabit the City of God called the New Jerusalem was a key concept of the Zionism movement in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s that resulted in the rapture theory.
The New Jerusalem that is coming from above (heaven) is the mystery of Christ and the Bride-Church.
The Mystery of the Ages (Part 3) - Israel Onoriobe
The Man Child – “The Son”:
God seeks for a Son upon the earth that will accomplish His purpose. We call this “The Man Child”.
In the Greek there are two words for the word “son”. The word “Nepios” is used to describe an offspring who does not possess or exhibit the qualities of his father, but is a child or an infant. This is an immature believer.
“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” (Galatians 4: 1).
The Greek word “Huios” is used to describe one who has and exhibits all the qualities and nature of his Father. He is fully matured and developed man.
“When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” (Hosea 11:1).
“And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.” (Exodus 4:22-23).
God is confident that the Church will fulfill His mandate to restore the earth through a restored man standing in the earth (Romans 8:18). God is incubating Sons He intends to release to fulfill His purpose. God is calling the Church from being a child into Sonship.
“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.” (Revelation 12:1-5 - emphasis added).
The above scripture is no longer speaking of things to come, because we are now living and walking in the age of the fulfillment of the book of Revelation. The “man child” that the scripture speaks of is not the natural Israel, because the “woman” appeared in heaven which is not the place of the natural Israel.
A Man Child (the matured Church with an apostolic and governmental anointing) is being birthed in the earth. The Man Child is destined to rule all nations with a rod of iron. The Greek word “poimaino”, means "to act as a shepherd, tend flocks," is translated "to rule" in Revelation 2:27, 12:5 and 19:15. The governing authority of this shepherd is to be of an unyielding and definite character.
“The woman” represents the Church, the spiritual Jerusalem from heaven above (Galatians 4:22-31).
There are three specific things about the woman:
1. She is clothed with the sun – The sun is the SON of Righteousness (Malachi 4:2) – He is our clothing!
2. She is conquering – The moon represents the power of darkness or demonic power. The SUN is the greater light that rules the day whereas the moon rules the night (darkness). This woman – the Overcoming, Mature Church has all things under her feet!
3. She is crowned with twelve stars – In the Bible the number twelve is the number of divine government and divine order, just like the 12 apostles of the Lamb. This Matured, Overcoming Church will be walking in apostolic governmental authority and divine order.
The attack of the enemy on The Man Child is to corrupt, hinder and abort the purpose of God (Revelation 12:4b). Satan’s goal from the beginning has been to destroy the seed of the woman, because he knows that the seed has been ordained by God to rule the earth as a shepherd.
“And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:14-15).
You will find out from the scriptures that there has been a constant battle against the seed “The Man Child” of the woman.
Pharaoh against the Seed – Exodus 1:15-22
Herod against the Seed – Matthew 2:16-18
The dragon against the Seed – Revelation 12:1-6
The Seed is a threat to the enemy that God in His sovereignty has preserved until the fullness of time.
“And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.” (Isaiah 65:9)
"Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." (Isaiah 66:7-8)
The Seed will inherit God’s mountain and will bring forth the manifestation of the Sons of God in every corner of the earth. This is the kairos time!
“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-14)
The Man Child is the mature Church, a many-membered Body. God is manifesting a corporate Church. Out of the church is coming forth a company that is to become the Christ in the earth under the headship of Jesus. This is a Church out of the church!
The Church is in travail to bring forth (birth) and manifest the Seed, The Man Child, who will possess the New Heavens and the New Earth (Isaiah 65:17). This Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy will reflect the government and absolute rule of God in the earth.
The goal of the Man Child is to manifest God’s nature, His name and glory in the earth. This apostolic work will result in corporateness in the Body, and unity of the faith (oneness) as described in Ephesians 1:12-13.
“That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In who ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.....”
“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory…..” (Hebrews 2:10a).
The Glory is the essential and fundamental element. This is the goal! We must be prepared for the glory.
