We caught up with Steve Backlund from Bethel Church Redding, CA, on a recent visit to Australia.

Steve and his wife Wendy travel the world encouraging believers, activating them in joy and hope. Israel Onoriobe

In a recent visit to Australia I (Matthew Dahlitz) and Marty Mitchell caught up with Israel Onoriobe from South Africa. Israel travels the world preaching the message of the Kingdom and we were blessed to catch up with him at a coffee house in our home town and have him minister to us.

Here is a little of our conversation we had recently over coffee - there's a little background noise, but that's just the nature of this style of podcasting. Israel has much to say about the Kingdom of God and if you are interested he has posted many blogs on our site. Enjoy.

I managed to catch up with Jodi when she was out in Australia recently with her singer/songwriter husband Josh. As usual I asked Jodi about her passion and what is it that's motivating her these days...

Josh Young

Singer/Songwriter Josh Young is a lover of God who is desperate for more of His presence. He has a strong desire to tap into the spiritual depths of music adn creativity that help people to experience freedom, hope, and the healing power of God's love. Through teaching and the ushering in of God's presence, he endeavors to bring understanding to the language of worship and creativity - allowing us to communicate spirit to spirit with the heart of God, and helping us walk into the fullness of our destiny. While doing a series of God encounter meetings at Logan City, Australia, I managed to ask him about his passion. You can find Josh's music here.

Steve Smith

Steve is a revivalist from a family of preachers. His grandfather was a successful pastor adn evangelist in England, and his father has been a successful pastor/teacher and church planter with the Assemblies of God in England and in Australia. Steve has been serving in full time ministry for over 28 years seeing tens of thousands come to Jesus and just as many touched by the power of God in healings and the joy of the Lord and trained in their gifts and ministries all over the world.

Danny Silk

Danny Silk is the Family Life Pastor of Bethel Church, with his wife Sheri. He brings a wealth of pastoral experience and gifted insight to the ministry. Through anointed teaching and counseling, Danny focuses on cultivating a culture of community by strengthening interpersonal relationships in the body. Danny also serves Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry as a guest lecturer and oversees the Transformation Center at Bethel Church, helping people find inner healing.  Danny and Sheri have 3 amazing children, a wonderful son in law and a beautiful granddaughter. Their passion is for families to get and stay connected!

This interview was taken between sessions at on of Danny's conferences in Logan City, Australia. The room was not the best for audio recording but it was good enough for us to catch Danny's passion...

Dean Taylor

Dean's home church is affilliated with Harvest International Ministries Australia one of the Apostolic Networks in a group known as the Revival Alliance. While continuing in his role at his home church, Dean has been directed by the leading of the Lord to also serve the wider Body of Christ.  Operating in the ministry of prophetic teaching, his mandate and passion is to help pastors mature the Body of Christ so her individual members can come into their God-given destiny.  His desire is to see God's children skillfully applying Jesus' Kingdom principles by bringing them practical, revelatory insight in a fresh, dynamic and understandable style. His heart is to see the Body of Christ being built up in strong faith and operating  in greater demonstrations of the Kingdom. I managed to catch up with Dean at his home in Queensland Australia.

Ben Hughes

Ben Hughes is a worship leader and preacher who passionately loves God and longs to see everyone come into intimate relationship with the King of Kings. His heart is set on revival sweeping the nations which he simply describes as ‘hearts on fire for Jesus’. Ben is in demand as a worship leader and preacher and has ministered with international ministries such as David Tomberlin, Chris Harvey, Jason Westerfield, Heather Clark, Catherine Mullins, Wes Campbell and Jim Drown. Ben has served in various ministry roles over the past 18 years including as a Pastor in a large contemporary church and as the Senior Pastor of a smaller church in Western Australia. He also served as staff with Youth With A Mission, New Zealand. Ben studied at Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney and at Riverview Bible College in Perth, WA. I caught up with Ben in Melbourne Australia to ask him what was his passion.

Dan McCollam

After serving as a worship leader for 20 years and releasing kingdom worshippers locally, regionally and globally on countless mission trips to nations around the world, Dan became heart-sick over the Westernisation of worship in the majority of churches in which he ministered. Since the sounds of every tribe and nation are heard in heaven, becoming an agent in restoring the stolen authentic expressions of worship became a driving passion, and Sounds of the Nations was born. As director of Sounds of the Nations and the Institute for Worship Arts Resources (iWAR), Dan trains indigenous peoples to write and record worship songs using their own ethnic sounds, styles, languages and instruments. I caught up with Dan at a recent conference in Melbourne, Australia.

Brenton Brown

Brenton grew up in Cape Town, studied at Oxford University and now lives in Malibu, California.

He first came to the attention of the wider church as one of the young worship leaders on the early Vineyard UK recordings, 'Come Now is the Time' and 'Hungry'. Working with Brian Doerkson, his songs 'Lord Reign in Me', 'All Who Are Thirsty', 'Humble King' and 'Your Love is Amazing' joined songs like 'Come Now is the Time', 'Be the Centre' and 'Hungry' to impact the world.

Brenton's songs have been recorded by Chris Tomlin adn Lincoln Brewster and he currently has five songs in the USA CCLI's Top 100 List. I caught up with Brenton in Melbourne, Australia.
