Pattaya Thailand Testimonies - Lyn Packer
Teams have been able to go to a variety of places to reach out -from the hospitals to prison to slums as well as the bars and streets. Every place the team has gone they have been able to minister the love and power of God and as a result numerous miracles have taken place. On one occasion a deaf man got healed and a man who hadn’t walked for 8 years walked after being prayed for by the team.
One afternoon our team headed down to the beach with a sign that asked if anyone needed healing. For over two hours we prayed for people and time after time they were healed.
On the Thurs night XP & the women at the school hosted a banquet to which we invited 60 bar girls. We hired them from their bar for that time and took them to the hotel ballroom where there was an amazing banquet laid out for them. We loved on them, shared our hearts and lives with them, prayed for them and gave them love gifts and roses from Papa God. Many of them had never been shown kindness and love like that in their lives before and it impacted them very deeply. Many of them were prayed with, received Jesus and wanted follow up by the ministry we worked in conjunction with that night. The sad fact is that most of these women do not want to be doing what they do but many are solo mums who have children to feed, have not been able to find decent jobs and know of no other way to earn that money. It is good to be able to point them to people who can help them.
Rob’s team went down to Walking St that same night. Walking St is the most infamous sex trade street in Pattaya. They prayed for healing for many people and approx 99% of all they prayed for got healed – everything from backs, knees, shoulders, and much more.
This week has been both glorious and horrible at the same time. Some days I just wanted to go home because the oppression and pain in the city are palpable and at times overwhelming. Yet in the midst of it all the love of God is saving, delivering and bringing hope and life changes to so many.
Pattaya has been one of those places which grab you by the heart strings and pull on you to the extent that you cannot ever be the same again. It is thick with darkness but the light is increasingly dispelling it. Lives are being changed as God’s love and power invades the streets and alleys. An ever increasing army of love warriors are waging and winning battles that have eternal consequences. Because of them Pattaya will one day live up to its name which means ‘city of freedom’.
Pattaya Thailand Trip - Lyn Packer
(First posted Sept 30, 2010)
Pattaya – as we drove into the sex trade capital of Thailand at midnight the first night the sight of bar after bar filled with women and tourists and the sounds of the music blaring from the bars converged to overwhelm my senses.
Twice a year Extreme Prophetic USA hosts a missions school and outreach to the city of Pattaya, which is one of the biggest sex-trade centres in the world with an estimated 20,00+ sex workers. We have just recently returned from a ten day trip there, where we helped staff that missions school and also had the privilege of spending time loving and ministering to many broken, hurt and scarred people.
Those we ministered to were prostitutes, lady-boys, the poor, HIV positive children and prisoners, all of whom are God’s special treasures. Here are some testimonies from that time.
As we walked down the street by the hotel suddenly one of the team members was grabbed from behind in a huge hug. One of the lady-boys had recognised her from the last outreach here. Her love and acceptance had profoundly impacted her. After talking to her for a few minutes we moved further along the street and again the same team member was wrapped in another hug as one of the bar girls recognised her. Love, shown in a simple way that gave them dignity, had made a huge impact on these two lives, so much so that they recognised her after months, out of the thousands they see walk past them each day.
One lady came to the school knowing she was meant to come but feeling a bit unsure as to how she would find things. This lady had a history of sexual abuse as a child. She was surprised at how deep a healing the Lord had done in her life as she found that during the week a God given love and compassion rose in her for the older male sex tourists of an age similar to her childhood abusers. How great God’s restoration is!!!
One bar girl, when we asked if she had any sickness or pain we could pray for, told us she had a breast tumour the size of a small apricot. So we prayed and she checked it – it had gone down to the size of a thumb top. We prayed again and it went down to the size of a small pea. We prayed again and she couldn’t find anything. She even got her friend that she worked with to check and it had totally gone! The lady asked if we could pray for her mother who lived elsewhere, if Jesus would be able to heal her. Her mother walked hunched over and had bad pain in her knees. We said, “Of course He could”, prayed and two days later when some of the team saw the lady she was so excited. Her mother was now standing upright again and all pain had gone from her knees. Both women reported that they were still pain free and tumour free.
We went on a treasure hunt one night and got down to the beach and saw one of our clues almost immediately – a man in a red shirt sitting under a palm tree. Rob went over to talk to him and the man said that a few nights earlier he had a dream that tonight at this beach he would meet someone important/special who would show him what real love was. Rob was able to share with him that it was a dream from Jesus and that Jesus was not only someone special but that Jesus thought he was someone special and that’s why they were there to talk to him. They got to pray for him, too, and when they did he said the hairs on his arm stood up and he felt warmth flood him. While he didn’t give his life to Jesus there and then we have no doubt that at that point he experienced the reality of Jesus and his love.
I’ll add some more testimonies later.
Thailand - The Pattaya Trip - Lyn Packer

We are having a wonder-filled time here as day by day we see the Lord do miracles of healing, deliverance and loving people. Tumours have dissolved, the deaf now hear, cripples walk, heart problems are fixed and so so much more. All of this in a city that is known worldwide for its sex trade tourism. But that sex trade tourism is the devils way of trying to stop Pattaya fulfilling its destiny of a place where people are held in honour, clothed with dignity and arrayed with splendour; a place of intimacy, purity and encounters with the heavenly bridegroom. Just today we received this prophetic word from a woman we know and trust and felt to share it with you so you could decree it over the city as the Lord is. Pattaya we call you into your destiny!!!
‘Pattaya, I call you out Pattaya, I call you out of the darkness Pattaya, I call you out of the darkness, I call you out of the darkness. 3 times I call you out of the darkness.
Awaken, awaken Bride of Pattaya, awaken, awaken, awaken, 3 times I say awaken.
For 100 years Pattaya has been asleep, For 100 years my Spirit has groaned and grieved the loss of my dear Pattaya. For 100 years, the territory has been stolen from me. For 100 years my Spirit has been grieved for these lost generations. Desolation and destruction has overtaken my beautiful Bride Pattaya and for 100 years the enemy has had reign and authority over my beautiful bride. But this is to be no longer. For from this day forth, I call out my bride Pattaya, I call out my bride to be awakened, to be aroused by the perfume of her lover, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the mighty Lion.
For no longer can I allow my bride to sleep. No longer can I allow my bride to sleep for it is time for her to be awake. Because of the atrocities that Pattaya has faced, I have forged a new ring, I have crafted a new sword, I have commissioned a new robe.
The tears that have been cried over Pattaya have been stored, making the most exquisite perfume possible, a perfume mixed with my tears, for my beautiful Pattaya. And so my bride, as you awaken, adorn yourself with myrrh, adorn yourself with hyssop, with honey and frankincense. Array yourself with gold and silver. Make yourself ready, for I the King am coming to restore my bride, I the King am coming to redeem the time, to take bak what was stolen from me, to restore all that was lost, taken and abused.
My hand will no longer be restrained, and it will come down harshly upon the enemy’s head, for the time of singing has come! Ring the wedding bells, the time has come for my bide to be awakened, adorned and wed! For the consummation of our marriage is at hand. My word will not return to me void, for I have spoken it out! I have declared it and have decreed that Pattaya will be restored!’
