Everything about you was designed to have continuous encounters with the Lord. The original design was for us to live in the manifest presence of the Lord. in Deuteronomy 4, the Lord spoke to the people in the mist of fire. They heard His voice but saw no form so that they could not make an idol from the form. The lack of clarity with which we are allowed to see the Lord is typically due to the idolatry in our hearts. The Lord will not show you more than you can handle and maintain your purity.
It is easy to get caught up in the manifestations which are essential and miss the face which is hidden in the clouds. When you try to reduce the experience to a principle, to that degree, He will withhold His presence. Every time you see the Holy Spirit move, the Face of God is there.
The Lord is about to reveal a measure of His goodness we have never known. We will fear the Lord because of the His goodness revealed.

Bill Johnson

BILL JOHNSON, Senior Leader of Bethel Church, is a fifth generation pastor with a rich heritage in the things of the Spirit. He serves a growing number of churches that have partnered for revival. This apostolic network has crossed denominational lines in building relationships that enable church leaders to walk in both purity and power. The present move of God has brought Bill into a deeper understanding of the phrase, "On earth as it is in heaven." Heaven is the model for our life and ministry. Learning to recognize the Holy Spirit's presence, and how to follow His lead will enable us to do the works of Christ, destroying the works of the devil. Bill and the Bethel Church family have taken on this theme for life and ministry. He teaches that we owe the world an encounter with God, and that a Gospel without power is not the Gospel that Jesus preached. Bill is the author of several books, including “When Heaven Invades Earth” and “Face to Face With God.”

Greg Haslam

Greg Haslam was born and raised in Liverpool.  He is married to Ruth and they have three grown-up sons.  James is a Senior House Officer in Anaesthetics in London (he and his wife Emily also have two daughters).  Andrew is now married to Sie Yan and has finished his MA in Theology and is now on Staff at Westminster Chapel as the 20's Pastor.  Joshua has recently graduated from University College London after studying Philosophy and Economics.

Greg studied Theology and History at Durham University.  After teaching high school he trained for the ministry at the London Theological Seminary before moving to Winchester where he pastored for 21 years until his call to Westminster Chapel, London in March 2002.
 
Greg has travelled widely as a preacher and conference speaker, both in UK and overseas.  He believes strongly in the recovery of strong healthy churches, characterised by a strong and vigorous God-centred focus. This is manifested primarily in a renewed confidence in God’s Word, and a conscious engagement with His Spirit. Such churches bring hope to the world!

He is the author of many articles and six books.  The latest include ‘Preach the Word!’ (Sovereign World), ‘A Radical Encounter with God’ (New Wine Press) ‘Moving in the Prophetic’ (Monarch Books) and ‘The Man Who Man Wrestled With God’ (New Wine Press).  He has also contributed to the recently published Should Christians Embrace Evolution? (IVP).
