Step Into the Amazing Side...

We have been born into an age where an amazing invitation and opportunity exists

In ages past, men and angels strained, in wonder, to look into the age we now live. And here we are, in an age of grace where the Almighty Creator Himself is reaching out to us and inviting us to be in Him, and He in us. All the roadblocks have been taken out of the way, and we have an invitation to come boldly to his throne as His children.

Regardless of your circumstances and experience of life, there is an amazing invitation to step into all you were created for. And here's the challenge. Are you courageous enough to grasp hold of a life that may be radically different to what you've experienced so far? Are you brave enough to change your mind about some fundamental stuff, in the face of many loud voices shouting just the opposite? Are you willing to let go of the way it's always been, and the way you've always understood, and embrace something that sounds too good to be true?

If you are then there's an adventure awaiting you. The ticket to this radical shift in your life has been paid for and all that's required is for you to step into it and let the adventure begin.

The King Is Calling You

There is a special call on your life!
You are not here by mistake, you were created for this time, there is a plan and a purpose for your life. You are being called to live life, and live life to the full. There is a deep desire in each one of us to find our place of significance, to live the dreams that make us feel alive. We want our lives to make a difference, we want to know and be known.

You are crafted in such a way that evoke desires deep within you that cry our for satisfacion. The desire to love and be loved, the desire to be significant, the desire for adventure, the desire for dominion. These desires can be suppressed by hurts, fears, dissapointments, or they can be misdirected into all sorts of folly. But they are there. And there is a Creator Who longs for you to excercise the full expression of your desires in the way He intended. Have you ever said to yourself 'there must me more to life than this....'? That's because the eternal spirit within you is reaching out for the 'more'. The 'more' is a life where you know who you are, what your place is, where you are going. You know your quest and you are going for it. The 'more' is a life where you feel fully alive, you feel love, you feel joy, you feel pain, without the fear, anxiety, anger and frustration.

This Side...

What Does "This Side" mean?

"This Side" means two things:

1. This side of the historical death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When Jesus rose from the dead the people of the earth entered into a dispensation of grace whereby salvation is freely available to anyone who says 'yes' to Jesus.

2. This side is also the life you enter into when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. When you accept Jesus you are baptised into His death and raised up with Him in a new life - this is the side of the cross we are talking about.

What Are We On About?

Awareness

We are all about raising people's awareness of what it is to live on this side of the cross, in all the wonder of what Jesus has made available to us. Our desire is to see individuals and Churches rise to the heights God is calling us to and to see the Kingdom of God advance on the earth like never before. Personal identity and destiny is so vital to the successful fulfillment of our call and so releasing people into their true identity and their God given destiny is a passion of ours.

Why Should You Care?

2000 years ago Jesus died so that you could live in all the fullness you were created for. If you don't take up His free offer to live life the way you were designed to, then you are cutting yourself short and everyone around you. You would also be denying God and yourself the pleasure of being together in that intimate relationship your spirit longs for. The blood of Jesus was a supreme sacrifice for God to make and He didn't make it lightly. There are very real rewards for accepting His gift of life, and very real negative consequenses if you don't. Be on the positive reward side - it's not just the right thing to do, it's the most empowering thing you could do.

We offer what we hope are some encouraging words on this site and in our books and other resources. We hope you can take away something from us that will help you become more of who God has called you to be. Our contributors come from various denominations and streams of Christianity, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience. This site provides a place to post some of their wisdom and experiences. We trust that the teaching and stories from the battlefront, or from the back-yard, will encourage and inspire you to run your own race for the high calling in Christ Jesus!
